In the world of gaming phones, few can compare with Asus’ line of Republic of Gamers (ROG) devices. Today, the company announced the latest edition: the Asus ROG Phone 6. As expected, the device is a powerhouse with plenty of gamer-friendly specs and features.
As usual, however, the pricing of the device is pretty high. Granted, if you stick to the lowest tier version, you can grab it for £899 (~$1,088), which isn’t too bad considering the specs. That includes the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, tons of RAM, tons of storage, a headphone jack, and more. However, once you step up to the Pro model with 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, you’ll see an eye-watering price of £1,099 (~$1,330).
This all begs the question: is the Asus ROG Phone 6 hot or not? Let us know in the poll above. Do you think Asus can get away with charging these high prices considering the features and specs on offer? Or do you think the company needs to trim its pricing to be more competitive with other gaming phones of the year?
