OnePlus has finally revealed the launch date for the long-rumored OnePlus Nord 2T. The company confirmed to Android Authority that it will hold a launch event for the phone on May 19 at 3 PM BST (10 AM ET). This means that the device will most likely debut in Europe and the UK.
The Nord 2T is the successor to the Nord 2. We got an early look at the phone’s renders recently, showing the unique rear camera housing once again. The phone was also quietly listed online just a few days back, complete with alleged specs and purported pricing.
As per the information out there, the OnePlus Nord 2T will bring a Mediatek Dimensity 1300 5G chipset, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a 4,500mAh battery, and a 6.43-inch 90Hz FHD+ OLED display.
OnePlus has also confirmed that the phone will be the fastest charging device in the Nord lineup with 80W charging — the same as the OnePlus 10 Pro.
Elsewhere, the phone is said to pack a 50MP IMX766 main shooter with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP monochrome lens. A 32MP punch-hole camera could take care of selfies.
