How to trim a YouTube video

On the Trim page, you can cut out areas at the beginning or end of your video; this is called trimming the ends of your video. To trim your YouTube video, click and drag the blue bars at either end of the video timeline.

How to blur a YouTube video
Log into your YouTube account and go to YouTube Studio. Click the Content tab from the menu on the left.

If you select Face blur, YouTube will start looking for faces to blur out. If you want manual control over where the blur occurs and for how long, click Custom blur.

Now it’s time to customize the appearance and details of the blur as it will appear in the video.
In the Custom blur field, enter the video timestamps for the beginning and end of the blur.

Under Blur Shape, select either Rectangle or Circle.

Under Blur Behavior, select either Track object (if there’s something in the video you want the blur to move with) or Fix blur position (if you want to blurred area to stay static in one position).

When you’re satisfied with your blur parameters, click the blue SAVE button in the top right.

How to add audio to a YouTube video
Log into your YouTube account and go to YouTube Studio. Click the Content tab from the menu on the left.

Under the Free music tab, locate the audio that you wish to add to your video. Hover your cursor over its title and then click ADD.

The audio will appear underneath the current video audio, as the audio from YouTube Studio will not be displacing the original audio. Instead, it will be added over top.

Click and drag either end of the blue audio bar to trim it down.
